More Blogathon Winners

Here are a few more good reads I’ve discovered through the blogathon experience.

Popcorn Homestead by Joan Lambert Bailey takes you on a brief trip through her life in metropolitan Tokyo. It’s a unique opportunity to see what living in Japan is like, read about it in real time, and not have to read Japanese!

John Beck’s And a Little Wine covers many of my favorite topics, like books, and baseball, and books.

Another Jon, another blog: Jon Bell’s On Mount Hood is another blog I remember from years past. I think it must be hard to write about the same place for a long period of time, but he makes it seem easy.

Julia Biggs’ blog, Aunt JuJu’s Perspective is one of those chatty blogs that can be about almost anything, depending on what strikes her fancy. I like it. Probably because she’s a good writer.

Gardening like I wish I could do it is the subject of Karen C.’s The Vegetable Garden.

Marijke Vroomen Durning is a colleague from the freelance group Freelance Success. Here health blog is well-written  and informative. I’ve never read something she’s written that I haven’t learned something new.

PFM Reports by Patrick McGraw — always a fine read.

I’ll do one more of these posts before the blogathon ends. I hope you check out some of these blogs. They really are gems.
