The Prestigious They Institute of Theyology

So there was this Seth Godin blog being shared around Facebook today about the things that Most People don’t do. It made me think about Them.

They are everywhere, aren’t They? And if Most People don’t care, well, neither do They. They are against everything you stand for, right? And They are different and stupid and selfish, whereas We know better.

Most People believe those things about Them.

That’s the challenge: to realize that We are Them and They are Us. Every single thing that Most People are and Most People believe and Most People do or fail to do — those are things that We are, We believe, We do, We don’t do.

There’s an out, though. If you don’t want to be Most People and certainly don’t want to be Them, well, you can be You. You can do, and act, and be according to your beliefs and screw Them and Most People and even Us. Remember, though that Everyone can do that, so maybe in your quest to be yourself, you should think occasionally about Everyone Else, even if that includes Them and Most People.
