I know you have a thing against thrift shops, but there are a lot of people in the country now who don’t have a lot of money to spend on clothing. For them thrift stores, Target, Wal-Mart, and Sears are the best they can do. So I have a challenge for you: why don’t you see what you can do with $500 at thrift stores? Some of them offer great quality used clothing (if I called it pre-owned would it sound better to you?), often designer duds that are very lightly worn. Or if it has to be new clothing, why not try to create a wardrobe for someone in a little town that only has a Wal-Mart or a Target?
It’s easy to find a wardrobe with your guidance and a big hunk of money. Doing the same with small change? That’s a challenge.
All the best,
Your fan, Lisa
PS: I saw the episode where you made over the Obama campaign worker and wanted to find out why you didn’t offer to do Sarah Palin. I bet you could have done as well with your $5,000 than the GOP did with their $150,000.
