As a first order of business, I’d like to request you pass a law making it a federal offense for those who haven’t voted to complain about the State of Affairs, Politicians, Politics, Laws, or Elections. If they do, I’d like the punishment to be that we who have voted are allowed to hit them with a stick. A small stick, but still a stick.<\/p>\n
Husband suggests another option would be to export non-voters to countries that aren’t known for having free and fair elections — Zimbabwe? North Korea? Cuba? Then we could bring in a citizen who would give his life — or at least his eye teeth — to have a chance to be part of a real democracy.<\/p>\n
Just a suggestion.<\/p>\n
